When using the Mark and Copy, it is sometimes hard to cover the correct rows of beads. This is especially true if one is working in a scale that is small, say 1:1 or even 1:2. When working in the staggered stitches, it is even more difficult.

To make the process easier, it is a good idea to work in a scale larger than 1:2 if possible. However, the way to make it just as easy as it can get is to switch to the Loom or Square stitch and do the Mark and Copy there. Then, when the copying is done, switch back to the stitch you were originally working in.
